The podcast links on Radio Southland’s website have changed.
Station Manager Darren Ludlow said the new podcast links are a result of this part of the station’s on-line service now being fully shifted to the AIR (Access Internet Radio) hosting site.
“Our new live-stream has been with the AIR site since halfway through last year, and it was always planned to shift our podcasts there, but we had a few technical issues to sort out first,” he explained.
“Now those issues have been sorted, all podcasts come from the AIR site which will provided additional features we’ve not been able to offer previously – like access to a back-catalog of some shows.”
“Our podcasts are now also part of a nationwide resource and sit alongside shows produced on other Access stations throughout New Zealand,” he said.
“If you have previously saved our podcast links and gone back to check when they are automatically updated, you’ll need to save the new links – but you’ll still have the opportunity to download and save the latest episodes of many of our shows,” Darren said.
The podcasts are available from the usual tab on this website, but you can also check out www.accessradio.org to browse podcasts and live streams from other Access Radio stations around New Zealand that participate in the project.
